1-day Police Assessment Centre Course

Are you looking to learn the skills to pass a Police Assessment Centre?

A 1-day course with policeapplication.co.uk will teach you all the skills to pass a police assessment centre. We’ll help you overcome any fears you have of the role plays, written exercises or the structured interview. Our 200-page course manual contains exercises and questions that simulate and test exactly the same exercises as those currently used. You will in fact gain a full understanding of the current exercises and carry out a rehearsal of your real assessment!

Our courses are strictly limited to 8 persons. This will give you the opportunity to learn and practice the current four role-play exercises with the course tutor under exam conditions. Again just to reiterate, these four role plays have been written to reflect the same skills as required in the current exercises. Unique to policeapplication.co.uk is that your four role-plays will be filmed and sent to you on DVD with further recommendations and feedback. This is a great way to learn and identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.

Role-plays account for 53% of all marks available at a police assessment centre, so with this in mind, we spend all morning teaching and practicing the four current role play exercises. The course manual contains a further 8 role play exercises for practice.

The current written exercises will be discussed and examples of completed proposals and templates are provided. Again, two of the six written proposal exercises contained in the course manual have been designed to simulate the same skills as those tested at your real assessment centre.

We then focus our attention to the interview and we discuss the format of this part of the process. The interview questions are provided along with sample answers to help you gauge, prepare and deliver your own answers to the required standard. Your draft answers can then be submitted to the course tutor for feedback and recommendations.

Finally, the Numerical Reasoning and Verbal Logical Reasoning tests are discussed and examples provided.

You leave the day with a comprehensive 200 page course manual containing exercises that have been designed to test the same skills as those required during your real assessment.

You should also note that you are also provide with unlimited after course support at no extra charge. This includes preparations for board / panel interviews where applicable. This after course support also gives you the opportunity to submit interview answers and practice written proposals.

The full cost of the course is £145.00. You can either Pay £25.00 Deposit (the remaining balance is due at the end of the day), alternately you can Pay Full Amount £145.00, either way your place is secured. All forces use the same assessment centre process/exercises, therefore it does not matter which location you attend. The course content remains the same. If you have any questions about the police assessment courses please contact us on 07890 607967.

9 out of 10 of all our clients who attend a Police Assessment course successfully pass their assessment as a result of our tuition. Compare this to the National statistic where only 3/10 are successful.

Here are some key facts about our courses:

1. The current four role-play exercises are carried out on a 1:1 basis with the David Vidgen: Recruitment Director, allowing you to participate in exercises under exam conditions. These role-plays test exactly the same skills and will be a rehearsal of the real role play exercises you are to participate in during your real assessment.

2. The two current written proposal exercises are discussed with further practice material given in the course manual - including full instructions on how to write a proposal. Again these test the same skills as your assessment centre. 29% of all marks available in an assessment centre are weighted towards the written proposal exercises.

3. The current interview questions are discussed, and expert advice given on how you satisfy the competencies and sample 'A' standard answers are provided. You are then encouraged to submit your answers to the course tutor for evaluation in the days/weeks leading up to your assessment centre.

4. Candidates are prepared for the Verbal Logical Reasoning test and the importance this exercise plays in passing the written communications standard.

5. Sample Numerical Reasoning exercises are provided with lots of practical advice on how you solve percentage, addition, subtraction, averages and multiplication questions.

6. Our guarantee: In the very unlikely event that you are unsuccessful, we offer clients free course/s until you are appointed - you never pay to attend a course again.
